Village at the peaks announces 4 new merchants and celebrates the opening of 15 more
Including Boulder-based Ozo Coffee Company, who are opening their first location outside of Boulder
Longmont, CO (Jan. 11, 2016) – Village at the Peaks announced four new merchants coming to the project Monday, bringing the number of businesses committed to the development to 29.
“We are curating a selection of merchants that will provide Longmont with the modern services and experiences they want,” said Allen Ginsborg, Managing Director and Principal, Newmark Merrill Mountain States. “We continue to be pleased with the vibrancy and success our first-round of openings has provided and are excited to build on the momentum going into 2016”.
Over the 2015 holiday season Village at the Peaks ushered in the openings of T-Mobile, Pie Five Pizza Co., Samuels Diamonds, Longmont Modern Dentistry and Party City, bringing the total number of currently opened merchants to 10.
The Longmont community and merchants has been very receptive to the first wave of openings; “We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the new Village at the Peaks development with all the great synergy coming. We had a fantastic opening on “Star Wars” weekend and through the holiday season!” said Kyle Gerstner COO/Owner of Tripod Venture that opened Pie Five on Dec. 18th.

Newly signed merchants include; Ozo Coffee Company, Mathnasium, The Sleep Number and Brain Balance Achievement Center.
Locally owned and operated Ozo Coffee Company out of Boulder, was just named one of the 25 Best Coffee Shops in America by Gear Patrol Magazine and recently signed to open in the amenity-rich North Village. The precision and craft that the chain puts into every cup of coffee has earned them a loyal following. “We decided to open a store in Village at the Peaks because it was the next logical step for the company and will help us serve our Longmont customers better and closer to home” said Justin Hartman Ozo Coffee Company owner. The Sleep Number recently signed to the space adjacent to the newly-opened Samuels Diamonds for their only Boulder County showroom location. The U.S. based-manufacturer; The Sleep Number is known as a best-in-class retailer and is dedicated to educating consumers on how they can achieve their best individualized sleep.
Brain Balance Achievement Center will be opening in early Spring 2016. Brain Balance provides a service for parents that are seeking a drug free, clinically proven after school programs for children struggling with learning, behavioral or social challenges; ADHD, dyslexia, Asperger’s. “The Village at the Peaks is a hub of retail and restaurants designed to support the needs of local families” said Michelle Selcke, Executive Director and owner of Brain Balance Achievement Center of Longmont. “We feel it’s an incredible convenient location for future customers who will have blocks of time to run errands in the center while their child attends Brain Balance sessions” said Selcke.
Mathnasium also signed a lease in the property’s South Village with close proximity to the interactive children’s play area and water features. Owner and Director Reggie Kellum commented “There is a tremendous need around the country for math supplementation. I love the fact that my personal efforts can raise the confidence, and proficiency of the community that I serve”. Mathnasium helps kids struggling with math succeed as well as working with students that excel in math to reach their full potential.
Upcoming Merchant Openings and Events
Openings slated for late January are; Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Supercuts, Jersey Mike’s Subs, The Melt, Village Inn and Ripple Effect, followed by Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar and Parry’s Pizzeria in mid-February. Later this spring Village at the Peaks expects to usher in the openings of; Visionworks, Brain Balance Achievement Center, Spavia, Mathnasium, The Sleep Number and Ozo Coffee Company.
Also starting at the Village at the Peaks in February; the inaugural Village at the Peaks Kid’s Club Event. Hosted in the Village Green area from 10am-12noon. Participants will be invited to share their appreciation for our troops that are serving our country by producing a personalized letter and envelope for the troops in addition to a second project that can be taken home by participants.
Village at the Peaks Kid’s Club events will be hosted every last Saturday of the month and will include a wide variety of activities from goat visits from Mountain Flower Goat Dairy to a mountain bike course and rock climbing wall from Avid 4 Adventure. “We are cultivating a wide range of events and activities to reflect the diversity and interests of our Longmont area residents,” said Ginsborg.
